Larry is married to his lovely wife Stephanie, and has three children.
Larry is very passionate about caring for Mothers. He feels that they are very important. Larry’s philosophy about mothers is: “Mothers take care of you until you are out on your own, so why not take care of them the way they took care of you. Don’t leave them when they cannot take care of themselves. Remember, they didn’t leave you.” - Daisha Davis - Volunteer of the Month - January 2025I am a senior at Georgia State University studying biological sciences. I graduate Fall 2025. I am interested in going into the medical field. I enjoy spending time in my community and working hands on. I have been a volunteer with the MOM Foundation for three years. I enjoy spending time with the mothers and hearing their stories. My mother, and women that have mothered me, mean the world to me. These women saved a piece of their hearts to share their love with me. I value a mother's love more than gold. My mom, grandmothers, aunts, and mentors have molded me into the young woman I am today, and for that I am grateful. I don't know who I would be if it were not for my mother.
Favorite Scripture: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pasture: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” (Psalm 23) - Ronald Comer, Sr. - Volunteer of the Month - December 2024
